The majority of medical cannabis recommendations are for treatment of chronic pain, though many customers also have issues with insomnia and anxiety. This workshop will discuss how cannabis can help alleviate pain, reduce anxiety, and improve sleep.

Pain, insomnia, and anxiety are common aliments for which pharmaceuticals are prescribed. These three conditions are tightly intertwined yet are often treated separately. If you have one, two, or all three of these symptoms you are likely to take medications for each.
Dr. Michael Moskowitz who specializes in chronic pain and is the author of “Medical Cannabis: A Guide for Patients, Practitioners and Caregivers” conducted a case study of 157 of his own patients. The study began in January 2016 and looked at cannabis as a medicine for pain, stress and sleep. It showed that 87 percent reported less pain and 81.5 percent reported better sleep over an 18-month period. The patients ranged in age from 20 to 99, with most over 50. Most were white; two-thirds were female.
